Another packed week — Stephan Berger’s field notes on reconstructing the attacker’s LSASS dump stood out to me, since credential-dumping artifacts are exactly what trip up newer analysts when they’re learning timeline analysis. The sheer volume of Citrix NetScaler zero-day coverage this week also drives home how quickly IR teams have to move from threat intel to actual hunting. At Study4Pass we talk a lot about building those investigative habits early, and I post short DFIR breakdowns for cert students on my Threads (https://www.threads.com/@istudy4pass) for anyone working toward their own credentials.
